Thanks for this info.
what bugs me is that I see the configuration and the populated recipient
container of this pure 2K3 AG from SRS in a mixed AG/Site but from but from
an Exchange 5.5 in the same mixed site I see the configuration and recipient
container but this last one is empty.
I'm gonna check if i find a recipient CA responsible for replication.

When you have a 'pure' Exchange 2000/2003 AG there is an SRS server
responsible for making sure that Exchange 5.5 know about the AG/Site. The
problem is that the KCC process randomly chooses what Exchange 2000/2003
SRS
server will be responsible for the site. Here's what's worked in the past
in
this situation.
1. Manually set which SRS sever owns the 'pure' Exchange 2000/2003 site
a.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315408
2. Create a recipient connection agreement and point it to the SRS server
that owns the site.
a. Remeber to set port 379 as the port on the 'From Exchange' Tab
3. Wait...

I made some research and test but still wonder.
I've got a mixed organization with Exchange 5.5 sites not yet migrated
and
sites that have been migrated to Exchange 2K3.
I need to add a brand new subsidiary so I create a subdomain in AD, a
new
Admin group (NewAG) in which I install an Exchange 2K3 server.
Do I need to do something special for the recipients in this new
susidiary
to be visible in the 5.5 Gal?
So far from my tests:
I can't add an SRS in the new AG to revert to a well known situation
(adc
and ca's)
In the 5.5 directory I see the NewAG site with it's configuration
container
wich comes thru a config_ca from an other site.
But what about the Recipient container?
I see it in one SRS but it doesn't seems to get replicated to the rest
of
the 5.5 organization!
Thanks for your help
