reroute incoming SMTP mail setting from 5.5 not in 2003

I have moved my users from 5.5 to exch 2003 server. We
have several domains that our users use for their email
    address - by division.
When I changed our firewall to NAT incoming mail to the
new server, only the default domain was able to receive
    mail.
In 5.5, the setting to fix this (I think!?) was in the
Internet Mail Service properties / Routing tab. I set it
to "Re-Route incoming SMTP mail" with the various
division's domains listed as being accepted as <inbound>.

For instance, our default domain is abc.com, and that's
the email address our headquarters group uses -
    jdoe@abc.com. Other divisions use def.com and ghi.com
(jdoe@def.com jdoe@ghi.com). The entries on the Routing
tab in Internet Mail Services showed Reroute Incoming SMTP
    Mail entries with def.com <Inbound> and ghi.com <Inbound>.
I'm assuming this allowed Exchange to accept and process
mail sent to jdoe@def.com as regular inbound mail.

The firewall NAT change caused only mail to abc.com to be
accepted. Mail to def.com or ghi.com was returned to the
    sender with a 550 Mailbox unavailable...User unknown.

What do I need to do in 2003 to get this email accepted??

    TIA

Recipient policies are the equivalent in your situation. Be sure to read
the help guide on how to use them before implementing them so you don't
    change all the SMTP addresses!
You can do it without applying the address changes ;)
