Calendar Sharing between to Separate Domains.

I have 2 companies that want to view calendars. (I have the Free/Busy
connector working) but Company A Execs. Want to view and share Calendars with
Company B Execs and visa versa.

Company A’s Secretary wants to open Company B’s Exec Calendar and view and
make appointments in it like she does for her own boss.

    The Issues are:
They are two different domains abc.com and xyz.com

I think even with a Trust and can give access to someone outside of my
    Exchange Organization.

I can create a trust between them if I need to.
I can create a connector if that’s needed as well.

Network wise we have fiber between us so bandwidth should not be an issue.

But there seems to be no obvious way to make this happen. Please help.

    Hi Jerry,

The problem with accessing calendars in two separate orgs is that you will
need a Mailbox-enabled user for each source-target user with a calendar sync
    connection between the two forests.

Free/busy would be the usuall option because it is just a Public folder.

If you have to go down this route you could use the Exchange Migration
Wizard from Quest. This would create a corresponding mailbox in the target
AD/Exch forest for 'Company Bs Exec' which would then have two-way sync for
the Calendar setup between source and target mailbox. Company A Exec would
then access a local copy of Company Bs mailbox.

This product is usually used for Greenfield migrations to provide
collaboration and migration. If you have two companies in this situation
maybe you should look at merging the two external orgs with this product.

Hope this is useful to you.

    Regards

    Lloyd
